Krystle Jones was born and raised in the small, southern town of Tullahoma, Tennessee. Reading and writing have been lifelong passions of hers. In addition to being a novelist, she is also an award-winning flutist, and moonlights as a voice actress. Her voice can be heard in the popular online game, Alice is Dead 3.
My first stories were penned in crayon and always featured a unicorn (usually several, since I collected them). Eventually, I graduated from stapled-together construction paper to notebooks, and then later onto the computer screen.
At the same time, I was drawing a lot, so most of my stories were actually comic strips. My first book, Veiled Innocence, started out as a graphic novel, then I later decided to try it as a regular novel.
Now, I write about vampires, faeries, and other creatures that go bump in the night. My stories usually have action, suspense, romance, and a little bit of horror thrown in. I like strong heroines, sexy male leads, and fun, fast-paced books. I want people to have fun while they're reading, so that's what I try to shoot for.
I love Morgan Freeman's voice.
My favorite color is red.
I have over 200 figurines, stuffed animals, and posters in my previously mentioned unicorn collection.
Aurora is my favorite Disney princess. Belle is a close second.
I love roller coasters and theme parks, in general.
I have a black belt.
I love animals. My hubby and I adopted two kitties named Felix and Angel who are spoiled rotten.
I'm a flute player, with a passion for the piccolo.
Some of my favorite movies are Labyrinth, Ever After, Underworld, Inception, Pride & Prejudice, and Warrior.
The TV shows I have to watch are Vampire Diaries, Game of Thrones, Shameless, Witches of East End, and Arrow.
I'm an introvert (big surprise there). ;)
I have a goofy, kind of sarcastic sense of humor that I tend to keep on a chain until I get to know people. (I totally let it off the chain while writing.)
Hobbies include drawing, dabbling in Photoshop (I make my own covers), reading, and watching movies.
